Florentino Morales is a black belt under Cobrinha. He was introduced to Jiu Jitsu at the beginning of 2008 when, at a book store, he saw a book about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques. He found a small school in Culver City and began training. One day, he saw a video of a Jiu-Jitsu fighter moving so smoothly, taking everyone’s back and submitting them, his name: Cobrinha. Florentino immediately began to study all of Cobrinha’s videos and DVD instructionals. Fast forward to 2012, when Cobrinha opened his headquarters in Los Angeles. From the moment Florentino walked in, he felt the closeness and warmth of the academy. Teaching the Executive morning class is a rewarding experience for him and he tries to help every student the same way Cobrinha has helped him.
