And of course, a huge congratulations to our professor and mentor, Rubens Charles Maciel “Cobrinha”, on his incredible 5th World Championship title at Black Belt. This was truly an incredible year for Cobrinha as he accomplished the Grand Slam in Jiu Jitsu – winning the European, Pan American, Brazilian National, and World Championships – the first in his weight devision to accomplish such a feat. At the age of 37, Cobrinha continues to inspire and break through the notions of what you can and cannot do. We are motivated each day by his dedication and focus. The sky is the limit!
